They put lots of love and detailwork into their products that have helped me to make music on various occasions , especially with this tune. This is a homage to Mellotron and all its derivates which fascinated me ever since i heard the sounds.

"Breakbeat Bossa" (90 BPM) combines Bossa Nova Rhythms, Breakbeats and 60’s Mellotron sounds (Brass Ensemble, Guitar and more) with Jungle vibes, LoFi Sound and a good mood. The track is paying homage to the Mellotron instrument in various versions and also to the works of G-Force software and Streetly Electronics to bring these sounds to today’s generation of musicians, after an enormous amount of dedicated work. „Breakbeat Bossa“ is a Crossover tune fitting into almost every radio show, you can also put it into your dj set as a suprise to wake them up!
"Gangsta Boogie" as a second tune creates a cinematic athmosphere for an exciting and dangerous adventure (or just a "prank") - a soundtrack for a fictional movie.(110 BPM), using a recording of the Grotrian Steinweg grand piano that he first learnt to play on with its unique sound.
Both tracks are part of TGM's Lower Breakbeats project (supported by Musikfonds e.V/ Neustart Kultur). The idea is to transform breakbeats in different musical ways, carrying Jungle vibes to lower BPM’. Like Jungle, this allows to create something new out of very different musical styles. Also, „Breakbeat Bossa“ will also be part of an upcoming Basswerk Sessions Vol. 4/ „25Years of Basswerk“ compilation (supported by the Cultural Department of the City of Cologne) with Basswerk’s latest takes on Jungle, Breakbeats, D&B and other music.

„Breakbeat Bossa“ (90 BPM) vereint Bossa Nova Rhythmen, Breakbeats und 60ies Mellotron-Sounds (Bläserensemble, E-Gitarre und andere) mit Jungle Vibes, LoFi Sound und einer guter Laune. Das Stück ist eine Hommage an das Mellotron-Instrument in seinen verschiedenen Ausführungen - und an G-Force Software und Streetly Electronics, die diese Sounds nach mühevoller Aufbereitung an die heutige Generation weitergeben. „Breakbeat Bossa“ ist ein Crossover-Tune, der in so gut wie jede Radio-Sendung passt, kann aber auch als Überraschung in einem DJ-Set funktionieren.
„Gangsta Boogie“ als zweites Stück erzeugt eine filmische Atmosphäre für ein spannendes, gefährliches Abenteuer - eine Art Soundtrack für einen fiktionalen Film. Mit dem besonderen Sound eines alten Grotrian Steinweg Flügels, auf dem er das Klavierspielen lernte.
Beide Tracks sind Teil von The Green Man (TGM)’s Lower Breakbeat Projekt (unterstützt vom Musikfonds e.V/ Neustart Kultur). Die Idee ist, Breakbeats auf verschiedene musikalische Weisen zu verarbeiten und die Vibes von Jungle-Musik in andere Tempi zu übertragen. Wie mit „Jungle“ kann so aus verschiedensten Stilen etwas Neues entstehen. Erste Ergebnisse des „Lower Breakbeats“ Projekts wie Experimente und Remixes sind auch auf lowerbreakbeats.de zu finden.
„Breakbeat Bossa“ wird außerdem Teil einer kommenden 25 Jahre Basswerk Compilation/ Basswerk Sessions Vol. 4 sein (unterstützt vom Kulturamt der Stadt Köln) - mit Basswerk’s neuesten Statements zu Jungle, Breakbeat, D&B und anderer Musik.
